Three breeding programs, one mission: High Desert, Desert Wind, and Aster Ridge work together in the beautiful High Desert of Arizona to bring a shared philosophy to life: every puppy deserves a strong foundation built on science, compassion, and purpose.
Our breeding programs are rooted in proven, evidence-based practices like Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) to support optimal development, along with the structured socialization protocols of Puppy Culture and AviDog.
Each of our partner programs brings its own area of expertise:

High Desert specializes in AKC-registered Miniature Poodles, thoughtfully bred for the show ring, service work, and companionship. Our program focuses on rich dark red, apricot, and cream colors while prioritizing exceptional health, temperament, structure, and trainability.

Desert Wind specializes in CKC-registered Australian Poodles in Toy (10–15") and Miniature (15–20") sizes. Available in a wide variety of colors, with and without phantom, abstract, and merle patterns, our Australian Poodles are intentionally bred for exceptional health, intelligence, trainability, and the stable temperaments needed to excel as lifelong companions and service dog prospects.

Aster Ridge specializes in both AKC- and ASDR-registered Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherds, producing exceptional dogs for the show ring, service work, small-animal herding, and active companionship. Our breeding program emphasizes sound structure, working ability, intelligence, and stable, people-oriented temperaments.
Our dogs come from champion bloodlines, carrying the legacy of excellent health, structure, and temperament. We take pride in preserving and enhancing these qualities through careful selection, ethical breeding practices, and comprehensive health testing.

Height is measured from the top of the shoulders to the floor. Moyen and Klein sizes are not recognized by the AKC or UKC.
